شُفتها بعيني داخلة المكتبة وهيَّ بتتلفت شمال ويمين، ولمَّا اتأكدت إن مفيش غيرها، في ثانية كانت خاطفة الكتاب ومخبياه ورا ضهرها.
أنا بصراحة في الأول – ورغم مظهرها الأنيق – توقَّعت أنها هتسرق الكتاب وتمشي، لكن فجأة لقيتها بتتحرك تاني وبمُنتهى التوتر ناحية الكاشير.. دفعتْ وجِريتْ على بره.
أنا طبعًا الفضول كلني، ودخلت أسأله هيَّ ليه كانت متوترة بالشكل ده؟
– يا باشا ما انا خدت على كده.. أي واحدة بتشتري الكتاب ده بتبقى مكسوفة وخايفة حد يشوفها.
– ليه إن شاء الله؟! كتاب كيف تزرع الهيروين؟!
– يا ريت.. ده كتاب «Why Men Love Bitches» بتاع «شيري أرجوف».
أنا طبعًا وقعت على روحي من الضحك وأنا بافتكر شكل محمود صاحبي ليلة زفافه وهو داخل الصيدلية يسأل على حبوب مُنشطة… للذاكرة.
