“أرى أطيافًا… زوجي يعتبرني مجنونة، ماذا عنك.. هل تصدقني؟” في هذه الرواية تخرج نهى داود عن المألوف في كتاباتها الواقعية لتقدم للقارئ خلطة شيقة تمزج فيها الواقع بالخيال. بطلة الرواية هي “صفاء” القاطنة بالعقار 47 والتي عانت مع الاكتئاب المرضي لسنوات وتكافح للتعافي من أجل زوجها وأبنائها. تقع صفاء على خاصية جهنمية تمكنها من كشف المستور. وما أن تبدأ باستخدامها محمومة حتى تقع جريمة مروعة في الشقة المقابلة لتفترش الأرض بالدماء. فهل تنجح صفاء في استخدام خاصية “الأطياف” للكشف عن غموض الحادث؟

“تُذبح طالبة بطريقة بشعة، وتُترك في سيارتها بميدان التحرير. صحفي شهير يتحول إلى رماد، والعجيب أن النيران لم تمس شيئًا آخر في شقته، ورسالة من مجهول مكتوبة على الحائط وراءه: «الله أكبر». زوجة منتج شهير تُلقى من شرفتها ليلة رأس السنة. وأخيرًا، تسمُّم 15 من أطفال الشوارع في ظروف غامضة. ضابط عادي كان سيقف عاجزًا أمام ملابسات هذه القضايا، لكن نوح الألفي – الذي تعرَّض لحادث جعله يبصر غوامض لا يراها غيره – وزميله قطز، ليسا ضابطين عاديين. معهما نبدأ الكتاب الأول من سلسلة «تحقيقات نوح الألفي».”

انها بضع ساعات في يوم ما… ما الذي يمكن أن يحدث؟؟.. الآن يمر الوقت ولا ندري أي شيء عنه… فجأة نجد الساعة تشير إلى الخامسة… ثم ننظر بعدها إلى الساعة نجدها الواحدة صباحًا… إذا ماذا يمكن أن يحدث في رواية .. تتحدث عن بضع ساعات؟؟!! سؤال سألته لنفسي.. وحتى الآن لم أجد إجابة عنه.. فلماذا لا نبحث عن الإجابة معًا؟
