بدأت القصة في قرية صغيرة تدعى “الجساسة”، حين ولد طفلًا لم يكن عاديًا أبدًا، فهو لم يخرج من رحم والدته باكيًا، مثل بقية المواليد بل خرج صامتًا، يُقلب بصره في الأشياء مندهشاً، كما لو أنه تفاجأ بوجود كوكب آخر، غير الكوكب المظلم الضيق الذي كان يعيش فيه.

انها بضع ساعات في يوم ما… ما الذي يمكن أن يحدث؟؟.. الآن يمر الوقت ولا ندري أي شيء عنه… فجأة نجد الساعة تشير إلى الخامسة… ثم ننظر بعدها إلى الساعة نجدها الواحدة صباحًا… إذا ماذا يمكن أن يحدث في رواية .. تتحدث عن بضع ساعات؟؟!! سؤال سألته لنفسي.. وحتى الآن لم أجد إجابة عنه.. فلماذا لا نبحث عن الإجابة معًا؟
